Alisa Burkhalter NP
Alisa is a Colorado native. She attended the University of Northern
Colorado, graduating with a B.S. of Arts in Psychology. In 2002 she
graduated from the University of Colorado Health Science Center with a B.S.
in Nursing. After graduation Alisa worked 1 year as a neonatal nurse and 5
years as a labor and delivery nurse at Rose Medical Center in Denver. Alisa
then furthered her training at the University of Northern Colorado and
obtained a Masters of Science in Nursing with a specialty in Family Nurse
Practitioner. She is certified by the American Academy of Nurse
Practitioners. She joined Westside Women's Care in 2007.
Alisa was married in 2007 and she an her husband live in the metro area with
their 3 dogs, Sara, Sydney and Pumper. She enjoys running, baking, walking
the dogs, and spending time with family and friends.
