Tawney Collins
Tawney has been teaching our childbirth classes at Westside Women's Care for
2 years now. In addition to her classes she works as a labor and delivery
nurse at Exempla Lutheran Medical Center. Tawney has worked at Lutheran for
11 years with the last 8 years spent on labor and delivery. Tawney likes to
keep her classes light and discuss reality. One of her class participants
wrote "Tawney makes it interesting and clear" Tawney brings her great
personality and sense of humor to the classes.
In her spare time Tawney enjoys her life as "mommy" to her two adorable
girls. ages 3 and 6. She enjoys scrape booking, hanging out with friends and
living room dates with her husband of 11 years, Kent. Tawney's motto is "If
you can't laugh at yourself, then don't laugh at all"
