Julie Ortega

Julie moved to Colorado at the age of 23 after finishing her nursing degree at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. Julie has worked in the OB/GYN field of nursing for 28 years with the last 15 years at Westside Women's Care. She started her nursing career as a labor and delivery nurse at Exempla Lutheran Medical Center. Julie stared her nurse practitioner career as a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner with Westside Women's Care.

Marlys Olofson

Marlys joined Westside Women's Care in May of 2009. Marlys comes to us with 25 years of experience in the field of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She has worked in in both public and private health care settings. Marlys hold a nursing degree from the University of Phoenix and is nationally certified as a Women's Health Care Nurse Practitioner. Marlys's emphasis is on optimal health maintenance through education and awareness.

Beth McConnell

Beth graduated from Nebraska Methodist School of Nursing in Omaha, Nebraska and completed the Women's Healthcare Nurse Practitioner Program at the University of Colorado. She has been employed at Westside Women's Care for the past 30 years. Beth's emphasis is on optimal health care maintenance and illness prevention in women.

Alisa Burkhalter

Alisa attended the University of Northern Colorado, graduating with a B.S. of Arts in Psychology. In 2002 she graduated from the University of Colorado Health Science Center with a B.S. in Nursing. After graduation Alisa worked 1 year as a neonatal nurse and 5 years as a labor and delivery nurse at Rose Medical Center in Denver. Alisa then furthered her training at the University of Northern Colorado and obtained a Masters of Science in Nursing with a specialty in Family Nurse Practitioner.

Mary Beth Haas

Mary Beth Haas, RN, WHNP-BC has been in practicing since 1996, in both gynecologic and family practice settings. She graduated from the University of Colorado in 1996 with a Nursing Doctorate degree and completed a Master’s degree in women’s health in 2004. She joins Westside Women’s Care in 2009.
