Westside Women's Care offers comprehensive obstetrics and gynecology services for women of all ages - from pre teens and adult women in midlife transition and senior women. We are dedicated to excellence in health care combined with an eye toward cost-effectiveness and state-of-the-art technology.
Pre-pregnancy health planning:
We offer a pre-conception evaluation. If you are considering becomingpregnant, you may want to see one of our health care professionals. During
the appointment a detailed history would be taken that would include:
Based on the history we can get your pregnancy started on the right track.
We can help you to understand your menstrual cycle and identify the time in
your cycle that you are most fertile.
We recommend that while you are trying to conceive that you take a
multivitamin with 0.4 mg of Folic Acid.
Basic Infertility:
Prenatal Care:
We have 9 board certified OB/GYN physicians, 4 Certified Nurse Midwives and 4 Nurse Practitioners here at Westside Women's Care to care for you during your pregnancy. We also have an excellent group of phone nurses that are available Monday thru Friday from 8 am - 5pm to answer your questions and help in any way. You will be seen on a regular basis for prenatal visits, where we will be continually monitoring you and your baby or babies! We do your ultrasounds in our office for you convenience. The earlier in your pregnancy we can see you the better, so schedule your first appointment as soon as you have a positive pregnancy test. We also will be glad to do a pregnancy test for you in our office. We care for both low and high risk patients24 hour Labor and Delivery Services:
Westside Women's Care provides 24 hour coverage for deliveries at Exempla Lutheran Medical Center in Wheat Ridge, Colorado. We always have a physician and a midwife on call. The on call physician and midwife can be reached on a 24 hour basis.Birth Control:
We offer comprehensive birth control services. We provide individualevaluation and counseling to help you decide which is the right birth
control for you. We can advise you of the options such as birth control
pills, patches and vaginal rings, IUD's, diaphragms, barrier methods,
natural family planning, Implanon and methods of permanent sterilizations.
We are able to place any of the two available IUD's in our office. We are
one of the few offices currently trained to place the new single rod
implant, Implanon, which is easily done in our office . We also offer
permanent female sterilization, thru the traditional surgical method and we
have physicians trained in the newer " Essure method". Currently we can do
the "Essure" method of permanent sterilization in our office, or as an
out-patient at the hospital, depending on your insurance coverage.

Menopause Symptom Control / Hormone Replacement Therapy:
We can evaluate you in menopause and peri-menopause. After a history andphysical one of our health care providers can discuss how best to help you
through this time. This may include recommendations for hormonal testing or
other blood work , heart evaluations, breast and colon screening and bone
scans. You and one of our health care providers will discuss the risks and
benefits of hormone replacement therapy and decide if it is right for you
