Wendy Thompson CNM
Wendy graduated from the Frontier School of Midwifery in 1997, and received her Masters of Science in Nursing from Case Western Reserve University in 1998. Her undergraduate nursing degree is from San Francisco State University. She worked in many areas of nursing, including ten years as a labor and delivery nurse and certified childbirth educator.
A California native, Wendy practiced full-scope midwifery there until late 2006.
At that time she moved with her husband to Winter Park for an adventure and to be near any future grandchildren. They have two grown sons and a daughter-in-law. Wendy enjoys reading, music, travel, outdoor activities, and spending time with her family. Wendy is thrilled to be in a midwifery practice once again. She looks forward to working with families to achieve their best pregnancy and birth experiences. Wendy believes in the normalcy of the childbirth process, but is always ready to deal with the unexpected. She loves to teach and is honored to work with women during this special time in their lives.
